Marcus Cheek & The Dirty Looks
Join us at Speakeasy Carrboro on Wednesday, September 30 for an evening of live music with Marcus Cheek & The Dirty Looks. Consider it an unofficial Shakori Hills pregame.
The Dirty Looks name goes back to an earlier Chapel Hill band that Marcus Cheek and David Bangert played in. The name returns with a new lineup, bringing together new songs and music from across the years.
The lineup features Marcus Cheek on guitar and vocals, David Bangert on bass and vocals, Chris Plummer on guitar, Martis Cowles on keyboards, and Keith Matthews on drums.
Music starts at 8:00 PM. Come out to Speakeasy Carrboro for a night of live music from a group with deep roots in the Chapel Hill and Carrboro music scene.
